Jeff Oakes received his Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee in 1991, his first Master’s Degree in Theology from Fuller Seminary in 2001 and a second Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Capella University in 2016. Jeff has been an Ordained Minister since 1995, a Licensed School Counselor since 2016 and a National Board Certified Counselor since 2019.
Jeff was a staff member at SFS from 2001-2004, and again from 2010-2015. During his first three years at SFS he served as the Director of Spiritual Life and Campus Pastor. During his last five years at SFS he served simultaneously as the Manager of Public Relations, Director of Summer Programs, and Schoolwide Emergency Response Coordinator.
While at SFS, Jeff coached Boys and Girls Varsity Tennis, Boys and Girls Swimming, and Middle School Soccer and Basketball.
