Laura Worden graduated from Lewis and Clark College in 1980 with a BA in Health and Physical Education. She also earned an Oregon Teachers License in the same subjects. In 1991 she earned a Master’s in Education at Oregon State University.
Laura was the Head Women’s Swimming Coach at Oregon State University from 1984 to 1989 including added responsibilities as the Athletic Department’s Primary Women’s Administrator the last two years. After marrying Mark and starting a family, she continued as a Physical Activities Instructor at OSU, teaching aquatics classes, lifetime fitness labs and mentoring grad students until 2014.
From 2014 to 2017, Laura had various substituting jobs at Seoul Foreign School, co-coached the middle school swim teams and was an assistant coach for the high school swim teams. She also served as the Assistant to the Director of Sports. She is currently retired, living in Corvallis Oregon.
