Marian Gillett graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a bachelor's degree in Education in 1986. She completed an MSc in Educational Leadership from Troy State University in 1994.
Marian and her husband Paul joined the SFS staff in 1989. She taught PE in the ES for her first 4 years before joining the HS faculty. She was the coach of the Varsity Boys' Volleyball team for 24 seasons, from 1989 - 1993 and 1995 - 2013 (1994 was a sabbatical year spent in Canada), and was the JV girls' volleyball coach for the 2014-2015 seasons, her last 2 years at SFS. She filled in as the HS AD upon return from sabbatical and was the APAC AD during its founding years from 1996-2001.
Marian and Paul live in Victoria, BC, Canada with their 3 children.
