Steve Major

Steve Major graduated in 1964 from Isaac C. Elston High School in Michigan City, Indiana.  He received his A.A. degree in 1970 from Norman Park Junior College, his B.A. degree in Health & PE in 1972 from LaGrange College, his M.S degree in Health & PE in 1978 from Jacksonville State University, and his Ed Specialist Degree in Health & PE in 1994 from Jacksonville State.
 
Steve taught at SFS from 1985 to 1989 and served as a PE teacher and the Athletic Director.  After SFS Steve and his family taught at Karachi American School Pakistan, International School of Bangkok, and the American School of Budapest before going back to the United States in 2003.  The Major's international teaching career spanned 18 years.  Steve is currently working as a freelance sports broadcaster.
 
At SFS Steve coached Varsity Boys Basketball, Varsity Boys Soccer, JV Girls Volleyball, and Cross Country.
