A native of Colorado, USA, Kirsten Gray graduated high school from Fountain Valley School in 1989 and attended university in Colorado as well. She has a BA in Kinesiology (PE K-12) from the University of Northern Colorado. Her MS, from A.T. Still University (Mesa, AZ), is in Human Movement with an emphasis in Metabolic Conditioning in 2010. She earned a certificate in Sport & Exercise Psychology in 2016 from A.T. Still University as well. She is also certified as a Corrective Exercise Specialist and Performance Enhancement Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (2009).
Prior to her arrival at SFS, she taught in Colorado, Barcelona, and Shanghai. Her experience includes 8 years in the classroom teaching MS math/science as well as 11 years teaching physical education (PS-12).
Coach Gray joined SFS in fall of 2016 as an Aquatics Instructor and swim coach. She enjoys focusing on swimming and brings 27 years of coaching experience with her.
