Larry Kearney did his schooling in Michigan completing his undergraduate degree at Eastern Michigan University and master’s degree at Wayne State University.
As a SFS staff member for 19 years Larry taught Economics, Biology, Earth Science and Physical Education. Outside the classroom he worked closely with the Athletic and Drama Departments in the high school.
Through the 1990’s coaching responsibilities focused on the Men’s and Women’s Cross Country teams.
2000 - 2009 Coach Kearney moved into the Athletic Director position and coached J.V. Boys Basketball 2006-09 working and learning from Coach J.P. Rader. 2007 – 2009 he coached the Boys Baseball team in the spring season.
