Menya Jefferson graduated in 1993 from Harrison Central High School in Gulfport, Mississippi. She received her Bachelor’s degree in French Language from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1998 and her Master’s degree in French Language from Mississippi State University in 2000.
Menya was a member of the SFS staff from 2013-2019. During her six years at the school, she taught French and Spanish in the BS and MS and also helped out with choreography for SFS productions.
At SFS, Menya has coached girls' varsity and JV cheerleading and also coached a Middle Years cheerleading team as an after school activity for several years.
